Pocatello Concrete was founded in 2025 by a team that grew up working construction in southeast Idaho. We started this company because we kept seeing homeowners get burned by out-of-area contractors who quoted low, skipped permits, and delivered work that did not hold up through the first Pocatello winter. We knew we could do better.
Pocatello is a city that works hard and takes care of what it has. The older neighborhoods near Idaho State University and downtown are full of homes that have been in families for generations - homes that deserve concrete work built to the same standard as the houses themselves. The ranch homes on the north side, the newer subdivisions toward Chubbuck, the properties along the Portneuf River corridor - we have worked all over this city and we understand what the soil, the elevation, and the winters demand from a concrete job.
At this elevation, freeze-thaw cycles hit concrete hard every season. We account for that on every project - through proper base preparation, the right concrete mix, and a curing process that holds up when temperatures swing. We handle driveways, patios, foundations, retaining walls, and commercial parking lots. Every job gets a site visit before a quote, a permit before work starts, and a walkthrough before final payment.
Every project goes through the proper City of Pocatello permit process. No shortcuts, no surprises when you sell your home.
We walk your site before giving you a price. The number you agree to is the number on the final invoice - no surprise line items.
We give you a clear schedule before we start and stick to it. You should never have to wonder when the crew is arriving.
Our mixes, base depths, and curing methods are calibrated for southeast Idaho's freeze-thaw cycles - not a milder climate.
Required for concrete and flatwork contractors performing work on public and private projects in Idaho. Verifiable through the Idaho Division of Building Safety. This license confirms the contractor meets state standards for trade competency and financial responsibility.
All Idaho contractors performing residential work must be registered with the Idaho Contractors Board. Registration requires proof of insurance and makes the contractor accountable to state oversight - giving homeowners a clear path for recourse if something goes wrong.
